Required input not connected

A node has an input it cannot run without, and nothing is connected to it. The workflow is saved as you draw it, but it cannot run until the input is connected.

What to do

Connect an earlier node's output to the input the message names. The node's page says what each of its inputs takes.

Checked before every run, for any node. It is one of the messages checks before a run.
