Aggregated column not numeric

An Aggregate node was asked to sum, average or take the minimum or maximum of a column where many filled values are not numbers. In a run the node still finishes, but it leaves those values out, so the result comes from fewer rows than you might expect. A dashboard tile or scenario query that asks for such a total on a text column is refused instead.

What to do

If the column holds text, aggregate it with count or first instead. If it should hold numbers, look in the source data for stray formatting, units or typos, and correct them there or in an earlier step. The message shows sample values that could not be read.
